In Loving Memory of Daniel Castillo, CEO of DCI Signs & Awnings, whose visionary leadership and unwavering dedication shaped our company's journey. More than a CEO, Danny was the heart and soul of our organization, inspiring us to new heights and embodying our values.

His innovative solutions and meticulous planning drove our success, rooted in 30 years of industry expertise gained at DCI. Danny's leadership fostered camaraderie and excellence, enriching our lives beyond mere profit.

A graduate of St. Peters University, Danny credited his success to education and humble beginnings in Cuba. His indomitable spirit and relentless determination are a lasting legacy, guiding us as we carry forward his vision. Though he is no longer with us, Danny's impact will be felt for generations at DCI Signs & Awnings.

Antoinette Castillo, the dedicated Owner and President of DCI Signs, embodies resilience and reverence as she continues the legacy left by her late husband. Inheriting the company upon his passing, Antoinette has embraced her role with determination and grace, ensuring that his vision and values remain at the heart of everything we do. With a steadfast commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, Antoinette leads our team with both strength and compassion, honoring her husband's memory while guiding us toward a future filled with success and innovation.

Brandon Utrera is a dedicated leader at DCI Signs and Awnings, Inc., bringing both expertise and a passion for his family’s legacy. As the son of the late Daniel Castillo, the previous owner of DCI Signs and Awnings, and Antoinette Castillo, the current President and Owner, Brandon has been surrounded by the business from a young age. Growing up with a strong understanding of the industry, he is committed to carrying forward his father’s vision while embracing new opportunities for growth and innovation.

In his role as CFO, Brandon is responsible for managing the financial strategy of the company, ensuring the continued success and scalability of DCI Signs and Awnings, Inc. With his expertise and strategic mindset, he is driven to help expand the company while maintaining the high standards of quality and service that have made DCI a trusted name in the signage and awning industry.

As the company celebrates its status as a certified woman-owned small business under the leadership of his mother, Antoinette, Brandon looks forward to helping DCI Signs and Awnings, Inc. reach even greater heights, all while honoring the values and vision that have been passed down through generations.

William Alvarez is not only family but was like a brother to DCI’s president, Daniel Castillo.  William currently serves the DCI team as Chief Operations Officer.  With over 30 years of experience in the Sign & Manufacturing Industry, he has the skills, knowledge and experience it takes to successfully lead his teams.

DCI is continually growing and working towards a streamlined and efficient lean manufacturing process, William is responsible for leading these efforts on the front line.  His ability to manage a large production and installation team ensures that each and every product is created to the highest standards, with utmost attention to detail, quality and satisfying client expectations.

William’s passion for his work, coupled with his innate positivity and ability to encourage and motivate, makes him a valuable leader to DCI.

As the Business controller at DCI Signs & Awnings, Jennifer oversees the financial planning and analysis, budgeting, reporting, and accounting functions. She has more than five years of experience in this role, and collaborates with senior management and the operations team to ensure the financial health and performance of the company. She also supports the strategic planning and decision-making processes, and provides insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability. She has a strong background in financial management, accounting, and data analysis, and is proficient in various software and tools. She is passionate about the industry, and aims to deliver high-quality and innovative solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our clients.

Emerson Ciamacco has been a vital support to DCI for over 10 years, overseeing various aspects of design and marketing, and currently serving as the Director of Creative Design Services. To know Emerson is to love Emerson. His contagious warmth and ability to encourage, support and strengthen the team at DCI are invaluable. His responsibilities are extensive and include but not limited to the following: overall creation and management of all shop drawings, production files and delegating to his team; all marketing materials from print to website as well as social media; hands on collaboration and coordination with the sales team and production team in designing and creating drawings that function in today’s outdoor environments.

Emerson’s role allows him the ability to interact with clients and co-workers alike on so many different levels. To the clients he serves, he listens to their ideas and vision, and together with the DCI team, he creates products which are fabricated to suit the needs of each individual project. To his team, he is even more. He is a strong, thoughtful and encouraging leader we are all proud to stand behind. Emerson Ciamacco is our friend and go-to person to resolve our most difficult endeavors.

With many years of experience at DCI Signs, Lee is an integral part of our team, specializing in sales and estimating. His expertise lies in providing custom solutions for canopies, awnings, sunshades, and covered walkways. Whether working with small businesses or large construction companies, Lee ensures every project is met with professionalism and precision.

As the go-to person for quotes and project consultations, Lee works closely with clients to understand their needs, providing accurate estimates and reliable advice. His commitment to quality service and attention to detail make him the right person to trust with your next project.

We are thrilled to welcome Christina Fasanello as the newest member of the DCI Signs team! Christina brings a wealth of experience in construction project management, having previously worked as a Project Engineer at PCL Construction, where she led the utility relocation scope with a focus on precise coordination and regulatory compliance.

Christina’s educational background in anthropology, with an emphasis on sustainability, deeply influences her approach to project management. She’s committed to creating resilient, environmentally-conscious projects that benefit both clients and communities.

Now, as a Project Manager with DCI Signs and Awnings, Christina plays a key role in supporting the Estimating, Design, and Fabrication teams to ensure that every project runs smoothly, on schedule, and within budget. Her proactive, go-getter attitude makes her a valuable asset to our team, and we’re excited to see the impact she’ll continue to make.
